Belen, New Mexico
The address and directions will be sent to you when you RSVP.
What to Wear
This is a celebration — bright, joyful colors are warmly encouraged. Come as Danna knew you.
Potluck Gathering
We'll share a meal together, potluck-style. If you're able, bring a dish to share — whatever you like, no sign-up needed. Just being there is plenty.
All Ages Welcome
Families and children are warmly welcome — Danna would have wanted the little ones there.
Our Intentions for the Day
We gather to celebrate the life of Danna Loori and to share in the beauty of who she was. Our hope is that she continues to live on through the lessons she taught — both directly and by example — through the words she shared, and through the influence she had on each of us. May her love be passed on through the generations, and throughout the world.
We'll begin with food and mingling, potluck-style, from noon until about 2pm. Then we'll gather for a slideshow of Danna's life, words from invited speakers, and — as time allows — open sharing from those who requested a moment to speak. How long the day goes, we'll leave to the day.
RSVP
Please let us know if you can join us, in person or online, as soon as you're able — it helps us plan a beautiful day. When you RSVP to attend in person, we'll reply with the address and directions; if you'll join by Zoom, we'll email you the private link before the celebration.
Attending from Afar — Zoom
If you can't be with us in person, you can still be with us. The celebration will be shared live over Zoom.
To protect the gathering, the Zoom link is not posted publicly — RSVP above and choose “via Zoom,” and we will email you the private link and joining instructions a few days before September 6.
The Zoom portion will cover the program — the slideshow, speakers, and shared memories — beginning around 2:00pm Mountain Time.
New to Zoom? We'll include simple step-by-step instructions with the link, and we recommend trying it out a day or two early. We'd be glad to help — just say so in your RSVP message.
